Don Miguel Gascon

Don Miguel Gascón Malbec is a full bodied wine with a deep violet color, showcasing flavors and aromas of blackberry, blueberry, plum, dark cherry, and a hint of mocha. The wine is elegant and rich in texture, with soft, round tannins and a long velvety finish. Gascón Malbec pairs well with grilled red meats, wild game, pasta dishes and chocolate molten dessert.

The purple-colored 2007 Malbec contains 5% Shiraz in the blend. The wine spent seven months in French and American oak. It exhibits an attractive nose of black cherry with a hint of blueberry. Smooth-textured, savory, and nicely balanced, it will drink well for another four years. It over-delivers for its humble price tag.
